Second issue and PR for release 0.2. Rejected and got banned!
Published: | Updated:
This is the second issue I made for a project called “30 seconds of code” on Github, and then got rejected, and banned as well! Yes that’s right, I got rejected wihout any clear feedback and still wanna write this blog about it.
The lesson from this is to read the instructions (contribution guidelines) carefully before making any new commit to their project. I did create a snippet using their template and follow rules but eventually I got restricted and cannot even make new issue or comment anything to that repository anymore with a message:
“Thanks for contributing. However, your PR doesn’t follow our contribution guidelines correctly and it doesn’t provide enough value for the average reader. Closing due to that.”.
